John Yarbrough Linear Park, origianlly called Ten Mile Linear Park is a slender green space with paths that you can skate, run, walk or bicycle. This urban park, when completed, will extend from north Colonial Avenue to Mullock Creek, in the Jamaica Bay area. Phase One from Six Mile Cypress to Daniels Parkway was completed in November 2005 and includeds 1 1/4 mile of paved path and sidewalks, two shade shelters with picnic tables. Phase Two from Daniels Parkway to Crystal Drive opened in October 2006 and includes two shade shelters with picnic tables and 1.5 miles of paved trials. Phase Three from Crystal drive to Colonial Ave. opened late April 2008.
